AutoStow error and warning messages

This table lists the AutoStow error and warning messages and provides recommended solutions for each.

There are no projections.

This error occurs when:

  • You have not created projections, in which case you need to create some projections. The fastest method to create projections that match the load list is to select Vessel Projections and use the Actions Synchronize Projections to match Load List option. For more information, see the manual Navis N4: Vessel Administrator and User Guide.

  • The load list is empty because all containers have been planned. If you would like to replan containers, you must select and revert the plans so that you can plan them using AutoStow.

There are more containers than projections in one or more groups (see Notices window). You need to add projections, or put stops on rolled containers.

Correct the numbers. The best method to create projections that match the load list is to select Vessel Projections and use the Actions Synchronize Projections to match Load List option. For more information, see the manual Navis N4: Vessel Administrator and User Guide.

There are more projections than containers in one or more groups. Some upper tiers will not be stowed.

Compare the preplan and load list. Correct if needed. The fastest method to create projections that match the load list is to select Vessel Projections and use the Actions Synchronize Projections to match Load List option. For more information, see the manual Navis N4: Vessel Administrator and User Guide.

Cannot perform AutoStow function because you must first define an AutoStow Strategy for this vessel.

Apply an AutoStow strategy to this vessel (on page 1).

Cannot perform AutoStow function because the crane plan is invalid.

Review and correct the crane plan. See the Quay Commander Option (on page 1).

Cannot perform AutoStow function because the Quay Commander is not running.

You are logged on with a user that does not have the required privileges for the Quay Commander Option (on page 1). See your N4 administrator for more information.

Cannot perform AutoStow function because there are unprocessed schedule updates.

Click Reschedule in the Quay Commander window (on page 1) to process the scheduled updates. See Reschedule button (on page 1).
